Projects

A project keeps location, investor, and related revisions together. In practice, it works well for a specific installation, building, facility, or customer job.

What a project contains

A project can include:

  • name and description,
  • address with street, house number, city, ZIP code, and country,
  • investor as an individual or company,
  • default responsible team member,
  • related revisions.

The default assignee is used as a helper when creating new revisions in the project. If assignments are not available in the current plan, Reviscan locks that option.

Investor in a project

When creating a project, you can use an existing investor or create a new one. For companies, Reviscan stores company name, company ID, tax ID, email, and phone. For individuals, it stores first name, last name, email, and phone.

Project detail

The project detail is the working area for revisions in that project. From there you can:

  • open or edit project information,
  • create a new revision,
  • track a revision status summary,
  • open a specific revision,
  • prepare a project evidence export.

Evidence export

A project can prepare an audit pack. The export can include revisions, selected defects, and available attachments. Depending on the selected format, the output can be a PDF, CSV, or ZIP package with files.

  1. Create the investor first if you plan to reuse it across projects.
  2. Add address and default assignee to the project.
  3. Create revisions from the project detail so they inherit the right context.
  4. Use the evidence export before handover or review on larger projects.
